Mile Limit: Mediterranean Restaurant, Wine Bar, & Bodega
Mediterranean tapas inspired by Spain, Southern France, Italy, North Africa, and the Levant.
Created by the team behind West Berkeley’s Michelin Recommended La Marcha Tapas Bar, Mile Limit explores the cuisines of the Mediterranean through California ingredients. Co-founders Sergio Monleón and Emily Sarlatte first cooked together for nearly a decade in a Sicilian restaurant, an experience that continues to shape the menu alongside Sergio’s Spanish heritage and Emily’s French roots.
Our wine list extends beyond the Mediterranean, with classic producers from Northern California, low-intervention and natural wines, and bottles from some of the world’s most exciting wine regions. We pour what we enjoy drinking, whether it’s a benchmark producer or something unexpected.
Getting Here
Mile Limit is located on San Pablo Avenue, sharing a parking lot with the laundromat next door. The lot is accessible from 10th Street, between University Avenue and Addison Street.
If you park in the lot, you'll need to walk through the laundromat to reach San Pablo Avenue, then head over to Mile Limit's entrance.
What We Offer
Rooted in the Mediterranean
Mediterranean cooking isn’t just one cuisine. The Mediterranean has always understood that food & drink is meant to bring people together.
That understanding is the heart of what we do— our menu draws from Spain, Southern France, Italy, North Africa and the Levant. Some dishes stay close to tradition, others borrow techniques and ingredients from different parts of the Mediterranean.
Where Mediterranean dishes, great wine, and good company meet in the middle.
